Hello !
I literally surfed the internet to figure out about how to control my own mind. Mix feelings when the pandemic started. It’s really change some of me during this time. Not gonna lie! Read a lot of articles, watched some videos etc to learn something that I’ve never know. I found out about Stoicism that people practice a lot to manage their depression. I am not depressed, I’m just stressed out but I think maybe I can practice this method to help me crawled out from this problem.
Stoicism’s first major stroke is about realizing what I are responsible for and what I are not responsible for. I’m responsible for what I do and what I do not do, despite all of the many external factors of life. So, learning when to take responsibility, and acknowledging when my emotions led me to fail, may be a way to manage stress.
It also gets me working on stuff I can improve, which will make myself feel better. When I was stressed I started slacking on things that could and should do to improve myself and my life because I had a bad outlook on things. Stoicism helped me move past that by just focusing on what was in my control.
I read a lot about Stoicism and turned out so many popular people used this method. It has been practiced by Marcus Aurelius. Frederick the Great, Montaigne, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Adam Smith, John Stuart Mill, Theodore Roosevelt, General James Mattis. This method designed to make us more resilient, happier, more virtuous and more wise–and as a result, better people, better parents and better professionals.
I started to buy some books about Stoicism and watched some videos about it and now I am more confident about myself and get out from my comfort zone. Started my business and in first 3 months I successfully got 5 numbers of profit 😁 I am really grateful towards my hardship times because failure is success in progress ! Every failure is a step of success 😉
